Great to hear. You must be delighted!
Birdies LG DU update.
Wonderful photograph from Rafa. A brilliant update and news. Thank you so much Jaydee and Paul.
Brilliant news, jaydee. May I ask how the connection was made between Rafa's sighting, a man from Spain, observing in Senegal, and a young osprey from Kielder in the UK? It is quite amazing!

Oh, that is wonderful. With more and more liaisons being made, I am sure more of our 'lost' osprey will come to light. So it takes you and others like you to keep scanning all such sites. Well done, again!
Thanks Jaydee and Paul, Good news is always welcome, especially following any bad news.
Kind regards, Ann
Thrilled for you. Its always great to see these magnificent birds.
An update on UV and more especially the Langue de Barbarie, by Paul Wildlifewriter
Thank you jaydee, and Paul for his brilliant explanation of the geography. Another fascinating blog, particularly the snapshots of the action of the river/sea over the 12 year period. I have now marked UV's island on my GE for future reference!! That in itself was interesting. I began to understand what Paul was saying about the timescale, and moved the marked on my GE and then forgot I had gone back in time. I couldn't understand why my marker pin was in water!! It is truly amazing what the strength of the water has in reconstructing the coastline.
Thank you jaydee & Paul, another fantastic blog!
