Here's to another day in the 2015 Loch Garten Osprey Season. Things seem to be going on schedule, and even the weather seems to be in a peaceful mood. Empty nest at the moment.

Enjoy Minsmere CLARE
You know, I really really hope the Staff will break up the hard clodding grass part of the nest for next year and help the birds by filling in that wacking great hole the kids may fall into - not withstanding Odin's efforts to prevent that this year.
'Morning MIKE
Hi Cirrus.
Birdies LG DU update.
Odin's back:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Awwwww. They look so lovely together:
He's dozing:
I won't ask what he's been doing all night!
Off he goes:
Yes, the camera froze right here!
Judging from EJ's position I'm assuming I've just missed another mating!
The sheen on her feathers is stunning:
Thanks for the captures CLARE - the nest looks sunny so far today. Is anyone else as concerned as I am about that hole?

Looking at the nest I have some concerns A. an egg could get knocked down the hole,b. bobblehead could fall down the hole.
C.A pine marten could come up though the hole and take the eggs.
D. a pine martin could take a booblehead.
Good morning everybody - think I've kinda slept in today :-(.
I've just caught up with the postings and want to thank all involved in the overnight pics/vids - your sleep-deprivation is much appreciated by the rest of us :-).
Clare and Limpy - enjoy your trip to Minsmere today. Looks as though you could be in for a really beautiful day there :-D.
