A Google search revealed this so I have started a new thread has been suggested.
Birdies LG DU update.
That's what I feel about the RSPB too NATURE LOVER
Thanks dkinnaird for a very balanced neutral view. I have not renewed membership this year of rspb as I am completely aghast at their stance over this. Would like to see what would happen if a rock festival arrived in boat of Garten - but that would just never happen would it!!
While I have to say I don't condone his actions, I was sorry to read on the BBC News Scotland website that a leading campaigner against the new site for T in the Park faces trial for culpable and reckless behaviour: www.bbc.co.uk/.../uk-scotland-tayside-central-33616608
Anyone who wishes to protect wildlife has a big tick from me, plus I too would be "extremely" annoyed and would do all I could to protect my immediate natural environment if this happened in my back yard, as is the case in Mark Liddiard's. All I can say is that I am grateful that there are people who care.
Ridiculous , it should be the organisers who are being charged with reckless disregard for our wildlife. As with the badgers the whole thing is a farce and the ones who are culpable get away with no charges and the decent people who care end up being punished.
While the incident reported on the BBC about Mark driving at contractors is not good news for those opposed to TITP at Strathallan by the same token they shouldn't have to put up with having human waste being thrown onto their property by campers.
It should also be noted that the Procurator Fiscal is still considering if a criminal act took place when the cherry picker was used to prevent the ospreys from using their nest. The PF involved is apparently a specialist in wildlife crime.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I haven't seen them myself yet, but the word from my eyes on the ground is that the chicks have had their maiden flight.
Fantastic news! Thanks for letting us know.
That is very reassuring. Thank you.
Do you know whether they have been ringed, and what the numbers are. It would be lovely to hear they have returned in two years time.
