A Google search revealed this so I have started a new thread has been suggested.
Birdies LG DU update.
I also got this tweet today

Just tell me why I am not at all surprised.... So much for the recent press releases about how they are doing everything they can not to upset the osprey...until they have feathers and can fly.
Come on P&KC get your act together now.

Sheila dont worry none of us are surprised - rather sad state of affairs. Well as I suspected earlier the security team are obviously doing a great job of letting DF team stomp wherever they like and keeping out those who may report anything. I take it from the press we are supposed to feel sorry for them - well I can just about hear the teeny weeny tiny winy minute violen in world playing just for them - NOT.
LMAC - Sorry did not reply yesterday but was up in Speyside looking in at a few ospreys.
You are not cinical and your postings are 100% correct.
I had this converstaion with the entrance security employed by DE Concerts on Monday Evening.
Apart from keeping people out of the construction area he said this is a very sensitive area and we are here to stop protesters entering and went on to tell me about the ospreys.
He was not aware that was why I was there - I said I walk up here often for an evening walk as I live local. He said no one will be able to walk up the road to the castle until well afetr the concert.
They now have a licence to do anything and report differently incluing intruding within the buffer zone.
Surely if conditions have been broken, the conditional licence for three years can be revoked?
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
This is appalling As OG says, surely the licence SHOULD be revoked
Another Courier article, including a vid.
I'd be inclined to think bribe rather than a kind donation:
"Mr Ellis also revealed that the festival is teaming up with Foundation Scotland to launch the T in the Park Community Fund, which will benefit local groups and projects."
Strathallan ospreys have reached the US with a fascinating article in the Wall Street Journal, which actually includes some history of the Castle, the estate and some of the various 'owners'. It confirms there are two chicks on the nest. I wonder whether they will be ringed. Presumably it will be within Keith Brockie's area?
Mmm, not sure whether to say "it's a great idea" or not. If they really valued the osprey they wouldn't have agreed to perform... IMHO. On the other hand they are highlighting the fact that osprey are there. Good or bad?
Hmmm. Not sure about this one. Think I mostly think they shouldn't be there, because the Ospreys were there first and T should never have got its license.
