Tomorrow, 12th, is the next step in P&K's deliberations; still hoping for sense to prevail, and the protection of Strathallan woodlands and wildlife.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
BBC Scotland has the news that the site has been approved for three years to fully assess local impact.
Oh, no - that's terrible news. Rather inevitable, though......why care about a pair of birds when there's so much money to be made? The organisers can then sit down at the end of those three years, reflect on the complete absence of ospreys and say 'oh well........we can continue here, can't we?' . Absolutely shocking, especially after their criminal behaviour.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
COUNCIL HAVE APPROVED PLANS UNANIMOUSLY.
Grrrrrr!

By the way, Grandmamac....thanks for passing this on.

The reason why I am not allowed to divulge details is that both the issues that I raised (contraventions of both The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 and The Nature Conservation Act (Scotland) 2004) are currently subject to an on-going police investigation. No decision in relation to prosecution has yet been made
Uuuurrrrgh!
