A Google search revealed this so I have started a new thread has been suggested.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks, Mike. It's good to know the cherry picker has finally been removed.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Thanks Mike will be interesting to see what happens. I saw a photo in the press with one bird taking a stick to the nest looks genuine so not sure how this will play out if DF think untrue footage.
DF would say that, though, wouldn't they?
Ye gods, It beggars belief !! Of course the birds want their ''old'' nest
Just read the article. Do hope that all will be successful and that the T in the Park will be moved to a more suitable venue.

RSPB Giving Nature a Home
I think it was 19 March when Keith Rogers posted '... I think the intention is to do mischievous heavy machinery work next to the nest in order to scare them off and give up on it....The path adjacent the nest looked fine to me. I have to say that if this did happen it would not surprise me.'
We can all make up our own minds as to how true this turned out to be, having read the excellent links posted above. For my part I welcome Keith's insight and 'warnings'.
On a personal note thanks for all the good wishes. Recovering at home and keeping my mind active and stimulated by this amazing world in which we live is a much better tonic than I could get in a hospital bed.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.
On here it's just shattered nerves and over excitement you have to worry about!!.
And now reported by BBC.
