WEEKLY CHAT (non-osprey topics) SUNDAY, APRIL 4, 2015

Hallo all!  Hope you all have a peaceful and pleasant Easter.

  • Annette, Hope your rain arrives and your daughter enjoys her massage. Also hope you are not driving in the rainstorm, when taking your daughter and Peanut back home.

  • Evening all:

OG:  Dog was safely at home (daughter's), with her friend popping by to do an odd job or two while she was AWOL. Wrong salon no biggie; I drove her there and then went to the gym for an hour instead of puttering around garden centers. We had an early lunch with OH before I chauffeured her and Peanut home; all in all a good visit in spite of salon mix-up.  Hope J is even better tomorrow.  Wow. That's a scarey story about the neighbor. Do the tides come in that quickly?

Lynette: Have fun decorating; Glad you and the other members survived the Womens' meeting. :-)

Brenda: Rain arrived. We only got a puny 1/3 of an inch but it freshened things up.

    Have a good Wednesday everyone.

  • Good Morning Everyone. Another beautiful sunny morning.

Sorry you didn't get more rain , Annette, but I guess any rain is welcome.

OG, If your plans are are still progressing the way you wanted, you will start packing today. Every respect to you both for achieving everything you wanted to do before you go away.

  • Just home from a weekend competing and see the great news that both EJ and Odin have arrived home.  Fantastic news.

  • Hello all

It is a beautiful day here in Inverness after a couple of not so good.

Thank you all for the chat - and TRISH2 - what a great welcome home for you!

OH still busy doing gardeny things, latest project is laying a couple of slabs, once we get them out of the car boot!

Amy seems much better now that her insulin dose has been changed, no frantic calls to her Mum today.

  • I am off to help wash all the crockery and cutlery in the bowls club house. They have sat in the cupboards since last September. We have to leave our cars on the main road, so it is a major job and many trips to carry it all across a field to the cars and take home to put in the dishwasher. So I will have my hands in water for a few hours now !!!

Heather, So pleased to hear that all is now well with Amy. Hope the garden slabs are not too big and heavy.

Trish, Did you have good results at the competitions ?

  • Shed painting finished.  Will need to water a lot of the garden tonight - a scorcher today - well, relatively for April anyway!

I have all my own stuff ready to pack, but J is still queasy and says he doesn't think he will come.  I say I won't go without him, so waiting for OH to come indoors and discuss what we can do!

HEATHER - pleased Amy has stabilised.  Should OH really be laying slabs? !!!

Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!

  • BRENDAH - she got 1st, 2nd 3rd, two 4ths,5th and 9th over the 3 days she ran so we are very, very proud of her.

  • Back home. I was washing all the dishes with another lady member and our OH's decided to join us. All very efficient and we managed it all in a couple of hours.

OG, So sorry J is still feeling queasy. It doesn't sound good, especially for car travelling. Keeping my fingers crossed that he will recover.

Trish, Fantastic. I can understand your being so proud of her. Any photographs, please ?

  • TRISH - big well done to Mia - and you too of course!

Have had a discussion, and decided J has no symptoms to suggest any treatment, and we shall all go away as planned.  We both think he is recovering, and actually needs to eat to be back to normal.

Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
