EJ just landed with a branch and I exclaimed out loud "Oh hello" much to the upset of my cat - is there a cure for this ospreyitis?! Just so glad to see EJ home and looking good (just you ignore all these scurrilous comments about 'old lady'!!!)

I wonder how she'll tackle the big hole? I notice she's nest cupping well away from it.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Moving sticks to fit, and more trying to scrape some of that darn moss/grass out.

Back again:
Oh how lovely to come back to all the photos and familiar faces!
I've been going thru EJ's fuzzy, glary night. She flew in at about 02:50 (see how I'm putting the colon in the 24-hour clock to make it easier? the reason I don't normally is because it invites a typo) and stayed until gone 06:30.
She couldn't resist nestcupping a couple of times and is very conscious of the PM hole, but it wasn't a very active night - however it was her first night so it's going on the record ;-)
I started doing a frame for the lovely tweeted pic of {{{EJ}}} but gave up trying to get the colours right after about 2 hours :-/ There was going to be more on the outside.
If anyone's interested, these were the lighting adjustments that went on in two batches last evening:

Another large stick. I'm sure that she's trying to cover the "PM hole"
So am I - that's well worked out by our Beautiful female. I did wonder how she would tackle that.
I just noticed on FB that Blue XD has been updated and is well into France now. Get a wriggle on Odin. We don't want a repeat performance of egg smashing.
EJ's been gone for a while now.
