So delighted to see our wonderful EJ back again and to have a DU thread - thanks for starting it Limpy.
Yay, I just got my first view of EJ this year! She's getting on with sorting out the nest!
Unfortunately I cannot tarry (this word specially for Scylla!), as I'm driving to Dyfi this morning to start a 3 day volunteering spell! Will try to check in when I get a moment - and a signal, but otherwise have a wonderful Easter everyone!

Enjoy your time at Dyfi, chocoholix :D.

Thank you for the word and for the lovely news about your trip to Dyfi - have a GREAT time!
Thank you for the overnight coverage, HERON, sorry I couldn't keep you company :-*
EJ seems to have plonked several sticks on top the the PM hole, I hope Odin will bring clumps to fill it in with. Am off to have a look at her night.

Morning, thanks for all the earlier updates and captures.
How lovely it is to log on and see EJ home :-)
Amen to that, Karen! I found myself celebrating with so much enthusiasm yesterday that I was told off for overdoing it........and no, it's not true that the floor shook.
Here is our EJ the Beautiful rendering herself even more so:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
She has clearly started work on the nest. Let's hope she doesn't have a problem discouraging the visitor!
She has flown.
She's back with a small stick:
EJ on nest making patterns with sticks - is she trying to make a signal for a certain someone?
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
I don't think she needs to give him any extra encouragement! Odin is one devoted mate.
Bottoms up:
