Daily Update (LG Nest) Monday, April 5, 2010

Morning all. Nothing to report.

  • Empty nest, going to make breakfast now (I think I hear OH stirring)

    Terry in Cumbria

  • Thanks for the overnight / early morning reports. Still an empty nest. I am sure EJ will go fishing for herself, although the forecast is wet/ windy up there for today/ tomorrow.

  • Heres the thing.. EJ at this moment is very capable of doing her own fishing so why must she expect Odin to feed her.  Probably a silly question!!!

  • Morning All,  I agree TIish, he brings fish as part of the mating ritual bit I,m sure  she goes huting/fishing herself at this early stage, She's going to be sitting around a long time once the eggs are laid but she fishes herself, and is off the nest for long periods just now.  Remember last year Oding brought quantity, but when she went herself she brought back 'quality, much bigger fish, 'stonkers'

All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.

But looking back he did feed her but it's is stupid and he knows it as he is a year older ..

  • Good morning all and no EJ or Odin at the moment but I am sure they are around, busy fishing and collecting furniture for the nest.  Have to go out again today so will not have any time to watch. I see Odin was very busy mating with EJ and she very willing, she knows when she is on to a good thing.  Although she seems to catch the larger fish she knows Odin will keep them coming even if they are not as large.  Although perhaps he has learned something from last year.

Have a good day all and enjoy.

  • Cirrus Yes I am beginning to feel more like my normal self now. Thanks for asking.

  • 11:41 Odin arrives with a fish, closely followed by EJ with some moss. Odin mantles over his fish and then flies off with it

  • Sorry, I think EJ has her own fish, not moss.
