What can I say? April Fool's Day? Could be mid-Winter from the view (or lack thereof).
BarbaraJean: You asked on yesterday's thread if anyone knew if EJ had dealt with this much snow. Tiger has posted some pix of her on the nest, partially covered with snow - but not like this. Richard at RSPB LG seems to think she's holed up somewhere near food waiting out the storm.
Cirrus: Photo of Marge resting makes a change - she's been looking very windswept when I've managed to stop by the nest!
Oh Tiger Tiger Tiger, THANKS for a wonderfully warming capture. This is all I saw ......
Tiger - is that real or a mock-up? It is 1st April!!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Oh no OG . I'd forgotten that nonsense. Tiger wouldn't be so cruel! Surely ...
And at 10.14 am it is encouraging that the topest of the two nest posts can just be seen. (caught this comment whilst Edit still available. :)

Many thanks for the heads up DjoanS
Tiger - my apologies for accusing you of April 1st stunt - Richard confirms Osprey (presumed EJ) on the nest at that time!
Good morning all so glad to see EJ if only for a moment on the nest. It is hard to believe that it is 1 April looking at all that snow. Wonder what she really thinks. Now going to weekly chat to catch up. Logged on this morning and after a quiet afternoon yesterday I now have 145 emails to open.

How could we have doubted our striped sage. Lol Of course it was EJ .........
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
Hi tish so good that EJ has been seen. Made me feel a lot happier but just want that snow to do but thinking it may take quite a while. Let's hope she meets up with Odin somewhere.
Hi Margobird, It is hard to imagine when this will all melt and will it be in time or will she just go somewhere else but as Richard has seen her we must all think everything will be fine just a bit later. I keep thjinking of them all at LG all snowy, slushy and wet and cold. Wish I could get on m broomstick and help them or twitch my nose and the snow will vanish. (remember "Bewitched" on the TV years ago!!
