WEEKLY CHAT (NON-OSPREY) SUNDAY MARCH 22, 2015)

Evening all and welcome to a new wee

Feeling normal today!  Back to catch up later.

  • Have just done our first Skype with puppy at one end, and little Matthew goggling at the other!!! Don't know which was most surprised by the technology!
  • Lovely pics LINDY!

I'm flopped out after a busy week but just want to say that I am up to date with all posts. Will do my best to catch up tomorrow.

  • Lindybird Bonnie is just adorable you must be happy to have her in your lives even with the hard work.

  • heard a lovely story yesterday ( sad/happy ending) We bumped into a dog walker in Tesco yesterday and she told us that she now had the pups Mum. Turned out her puppys Mum was up for sale as she was no longer earning her pennies as a breeding dog. She now has a loving home. The lady we met was recently on hols in st Andrews and wet a Blue Roan owner. The story went that they had gone to see a pup and in the corner of the room was an adult dog in a cage.turned out she was past her time as a breeding dog and they had no use for her. The couple immediately changed their minds and took the adult dog instead. What lovely people.

  • Blimey!  The Community just went really peculiar and I found I was being given the option to 'Moderate' on every post!!  It seems to have gone back to normal now.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • I can very strongly recommend looking at the last drawing on this thread - it's stunning!

  • Lovely story indeed, dibnlib. Nice to know there are still kind folks out there. Brenda, I forgot to say that I sent for one of those little hanging water holders only this morning. I wanted one when we ordered the dog crate, as it said that quite a lot of people were ordering them for dogs (the water holders, that is) even though they are intended for smaller animals. My OH was sceptical, and as he never likes to risk spending to excess, we didn't buy one at the time! (They only cost about 5 pounds LOL!).

thanks for the link, Clare....so talented. Wish I could draw!
  • Thanks Clare. I have seen Aiki and Seymours artwork  before. They are both very knowledgable and gifted people.

  • Dibnlib, What a lovely story, but it does make me wonder what happens to the bitches that are not 'rescued'. Rather like race horses or greyhounds, who don't make the grade or become too old to race.

Linda, I hope the water holder works for you. Penny still uses her's. I have heard her. LOL
