Happy New Week all
Thanks, Margo. Hope you're feeling a bit better each day.
Sad news re Millie. See blog.
Bad news on blog re Millie. And no more tagging!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
LINDA - in case you have to switch off early tonight, for an early morning start: safe travelling and enjoy your trip!
Very sad news. I hope we will still hear about Breagha.
Morning all:
Clare: You've got to be doing something right to get so many interviews. All we hear here is that people send resumes (CVs) and never even get an acknowledgement.
Lindybird: Worried that you haven't packed enough shoes/sandals - after all, three weeks in the Canaries..... :-))
Off to check blog...
Hmmm. Sad news from the Blog but also interesting that they've decided to discontinue tagging this year. I'm thinking that's going to make a big difference to the more avid fans who spend so much time following the birds....
Annette I think it will make a difference to some but not me. You only need look at Rutland who don't tag but ring. Their return rate is excellent. I have always thought tags attract unwanted human attention although I do accept that many fall prey to other animals and manmade structures etc.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
CLARE Good you have an interview this week.....good luck.
LINDY what a wonderful picture of a young elephant.
Have a great holiday... We are off to Pitlochry on Thurs. Same hotel as last April, so will be taking Benson.
