This is a new thread for the Glaslyn Ospreys. Following on from Glaslyn 2014
The countdown clocks march relentlessly on
I will add to this later.

The early morning low cloud and mist has burned off, and the cam returned on the nest and perch around lunch time, I think. The odd insect and midges are all I've seen.

Latest Update from Glaslyn FB.
There have been no confirmed sightings of an osprey today at the protection site or the surrounding area. Neither have we received any reports of an osprey fishing in the estuary or other known fishing grounds. It is well known that a male osprey may return to the nest site to check that all his chicks have left on migration.
Aran has not been seen today though and possibly could have left on migration early this morning. He was not seen at the protection site from 07:30 onwards.
However It does look like the chicks may have embarked on migration, only in the next few days can we confirm that, even though we think it likely. It felt very empty at the nest site today as you can imagine, but we rejoice in the fantastic success, that in the face of all odds Mrs G and Aran raised two beautiful ospreys.
An additional post.
The last sighting of Aran still remains as around 5pm on Sept 25th.

Latest Facebook from Glaslyn. It would seem they have all gone.
Birdies LG DU update.
Such a lovely picture - blue sky over an osprey nest. Sad that our viewing has come to an end but hope that this is a good time for their journey as we have settled weather. Will be back next year with fingers crossed for Mrs G and Aran's return
