What gives you the idea that we would be helping?
Two hours since Aran was reported to be eating his fish. Feeling rather impatient to hear if he is sharing it with his chick, or not.
I must leave for a while now. I hope there will be an update soon.
15.00 I'm back, and still ENS

No sign of Aran and any fish, nor indeed a youngster, and it is over four hours since it was reported that Aran was seen with a fish. Perhaps he has eaten it himself?
No birds around as far as I know.
18.57 and for the past hour or so, when I have been taking in the awful news of Breagha, there has been no movement, unless someone appeared while I wasn't looking. So have they all left us now. Almost within 24 hours all three of them.
Posted about an hour ago from the main Glaslyn FB page
As previously reported Aran and a juvenile osprey were seen at the nest site this morning at 08:58. The juvenile sighting was 100% confirmed but we were unable to identify which juvenile it was. The last sighting of it was around 09 :45. At 9 :50 Aran flew down the valley to go fishing. He returned at 11:33 and circled the nest site with a large mullet. He landed in a nearby tree at 11:37.
The reported sighting of a juvenile in a nearby tree to where Aran was perched proved to be incorrect. Apologies.
Aran stayed in this tree all afternoon, eating and then resting. He was harassed by two crows but didn't budge. By 16 :30 he'd finally finished eating his fish and was preening. At 16:58 he took flight towards the river, he banked, changed direction, and was last seen flying in a south easterly direction.
There has been no further sightings of either juvenile as of 18:30 tonight. Will we see 4R and W0 at the nest again or have they started their migration?. Will we see Aran tomorrow morning?.
Whenever! May they all have a safe and trouble free migration and return once again to the Glaslyn Valley.
The photos of Aran were taken some distance away and into the sun. They are for our records.
If that is the last we see of the Glaslyn family, I wish them well in their migrations south, and very much look forward to seeing Aran and Mrs G next year, and truly hope we may see more of Blue 4R and Blue W0 in the future. It has been an amazing season with them. I will be back next year.
Thank you Sheila. I hope they have left, but we will hopefully know more tomorrow.
The cam has been down for quite a while - can't say exactly because I switched off the recorder at 2140hr, intending to switch it back on pre-dawn - which I have now done, with browser set at 15-minute auto-refreshes, hoping for the best.
