Hi Sheila
Yes I keep having a check, did you see those captures very early of the light casting raindrops looking like bright eggs?I just thought it was so uncanny at this time.
I did, Kate, thank you for posting it. A bit unnerving!
The pesky Magpie back, is it my imagination or is this the first time, this year, I have seen magpies eating fish/fish remains?

I think I've seen magpies on Dyfi as well, pecking at scraps But possibly not at LG. But there again, perhaps LG is not really their natural environment?

two ospreys on perch at Glaslyn at the moment jr
We obviously missed it!
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
Apparently Blue 4R and W0 were both on the nest at 16.42 and at 17.10 Aran delivered a fish, which was claimed by 4R.
W0 is sitting on the perch at the moment. Windy and damp. Surely they must leave tomorrow?
Latest on the Glaslyn FB page, 38 minutes ago. I'm a bit confused over their allocation of sex to W0!
Well, they are both still here this afternoon. What a bonus it is for us to still have their company. Aran arrived some minutes later with a flat fish, 4R was quick off the mark, landed on the nest and secured her supper. W0 was close by but didn't make any attempt to land on the nest, so she can't have been very hungry. No doubt we will see her later calling for Aran to bring her supper.
