Evening all:
Lindybird: Love those poppies - such a wonderful rich color. I love tulips that color too.
AQ: Glad you're feeling better; sorry about the heat.
Rita:The Epi doesn't usually bloom until June.....
Battling my way through this jigsaw, which is the hardest one I've ever done (although Van Gogh's Irises was pretty challenging). However, am packing it in now and enjoying a taste-test comparison of Hagen Daaz's Caramel Gelato and Dulce de Leche ice cream. The gelato is much smoother, but I think I prefer the texture of the ice cream. Both are very sweet, almost too much...
Anyway, have a nice Sunday everyone, especially Margo, who I hope is feeling better and enjoying some time with her OH. Also hallo to George!
OG, Thank you for showing your present. It really is superb. I enlarged it fully, so that I could see the detail.
Linda, I do exactly what you are doing, before I go away. It is lovely to come home and know there is no HW to do. Anyhow, our neighbours come in, when we are away LOL
By the way.......I make it 31 days to EJ!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
EJ using a sat nav? Heaven forbid. Being a superior kind of female she will be finding her own way, easily, with no technology in sight!!
I must confess to having a soft spot for EJ which is about the size of the average bouncy castle.
Must admit, I did think that, even as I wrote the line.... These birds and their navigational skills are just stupendous!
Must turn in now, my OH has gone to bed! Night, All!
Hi - shoulder has cleared up, mysteriously as it appeared it has now gone and all is well. Hope to get up to speed on Tuesday.
Clare - waiting to hear about whether an interview was successful can be so frustrating, and your car - hope you get fixed up soon. Thinking of you.
Talking of CT's had a lovely padded jacket and a lighter weight fleece in a check for my birthday in January - both in the sale. You can pick up some bargains when they reduce their goods.
OG - hope that hip feels better after a rest - don't overdo things!

Heather, that is good news about OH. Do hope his other eye can be sorted out fairly soon.
Been a lovely day here, went shopping this morning with dau. instead of having it delivered as I usually do these days. Nice to get in and look round properly for a change.
