FEBRUARY - The days may be getting longer, but it is still our coldest month. Just a wonderful month to curl up and snooze until our osprey arrive back in Scotland. - - and Wales and England. I don't know of any in Ireland.
WendyB has recently given us a link to an Albatross family cam which should prove entertaining as we continue our countdown to the arrival of EJ and Odin. With Keith on Bioko Island for he month, he may have a few adventures to share with us.
Let us remember that February is the month of romance, too.
By strange coincidence OH was viewing football results just now & there was an interview with one of the managers in the semifinal match KR was going to see! Of course, I showed off with my prior knowledge of this event, his face was a picture!! I know the result & who will be playing in the final but will leave it to KR to report!!

Nethy Bridge, Scotland, 230 A,M Fri 35F, Hi expected later today Fri 36F & cloudy.
Good morning all. Thankyou for all your photos June I love the albatross pics. EJ will hopefully be returning next month! It will be very interesting to see what happens this year. Will Dai Dots return? I hope so! Maybe we will see the return of Breagh although dont like to hope too much on account of what happened to Caledonia :( She is still on my phones wall paper.
Willow, you have reminded me that I haven't posted a countdown for several days.
Yes we both had a fondness for DaiDots. Certainly hope to see more of him this season.
And Breagha? I'm afraid for him. I'm afraid to hope for his return. I just know I don't feel the hope and expectation and excitement that I felt for Caledonia. I just pray that whatever he does, that he stays safe.
COUNTDOWN FOR LOCH GARTEN NEST
47 days till EJ'S RETURN on Wed March 25th
53 days till ODIN'S RETURN on Wed March 31st
This is not a live picture. The Kauea Cam is still on night light. This is a still picture "on the side". From this caption we can conclude that Malu is the Mama at the front nest, Niau is the chick at the front nest. But who is 0215? The Dad from the back nest?
Unknown said:I am being taken out tomorrow evening to see Equatorial Guinea versus Ghana in the semi final of the African Nations Cup at the Stadium of Malabo. looking forward to this as a few premier league players on view. They are expecting a big crowd.
There was a riot at the match last night.

OH, MY! I TOLD Keith to stay out of trouble! I hope he has been listening to me and was well away from all the excitement.
Hope he gives us a first hand report soon.
