Oh George how very sad..

George - really sorry to hear your sad news - thinking of you at this time.

George, I am so very sorry. You gave Diesel such a good life and you have now allowed him to sleep , instead of suffering. I know how much you will miss him. Do take care of yourself.  X

George: I'm so very sorry to read about Diesel. You were a devoted friend to him and of course you wouldn't have wanted him to suffer, but it's very sad even though it was the right decision. Do be kind to yourself and let us know how you're doing. Hugs to you.

Good Morning, Everyone. I think that George's sad news has rather "knocked us all for six" as we all care so passionately about animals on here, even if we don't have a dog ourselves. Hugs on their way to you, George, you are not alone in your grieving.

OG: Hope you can get your dental care sorted, at least it sounds as if you can get expert help. Loved J's weather story!! Diane: Good to hear from you! I often used to look in on Pale Male and his mate, but it did sound increasingly as if the Park were not encouraging wildlife, which seems crazy. Hope your RT Hawk has a good nesting season this year.

The sun is doing its best to shine brightly, here, but its still very cold. My OH has gone out to play a short round of golf, wrapped in many layers!! Last night our Eldest did battle with the new computer system for me, and I fed him on Chicken Korma with green beans & rice.

We have woken in a white world again (not even sunny and snowy OG,!!) Just grey skies that maybe hold the promise of more snow to come.

My OH is having doubts about driving to his Probus Club meeting. It is held at Culloden House hotel,the other end of town from here.

OG - It is difficult at times to know whether to alert the care home staff about Sheana's thoughts but like you with your Dad,I've told them to expect to be accused of stealing! Last night S phoned me, quite late on, to advise me that she was being taken out somewhere and they would be collecting her any minute so not to worry if I phoned and there was no answer.

Morning LINDY! Your OH will need something warming when he gets home - any curry left;-)
