It certainly is, PATILY - I think it's because there is much more light per square inch gets into the regular cam. I have to record the wide-angle because the regular goes down so much - but we do get the benefit of fly-arounds and -ins and -outs ;-) I think there is something I could do to my software to make it brighter, I saw something a couple of days ago but can't remember where :-/
IMAGICAT
Just relax SCYLLA - you do a tremendous job as it is. We really (me) appreciate what you do for us . A huge thank you from me.
Yes, PATILY - I agree too

Maya had already been on the nest doing absolutely nothing, I meant to take off the first bit where she leaves. Blue33 did a lot of flapping, just a couple of examples included, plus matings, one unsuccessful.
I have asked YT to make some picture adjustments but they take a while.
Thanks for updates and pics, vids etc

Maya's first clump of the day:
Followed by more...
Nice:
Blue33 blocking her landing trajectory ;-)
Getting in the way of her getting on with her work! You know what Mrs5R is like - Superwoman!
What a shame the Water Board logo gets in the way so we will never know who this was :'( (Heheheheheeeeee.)
Maya warning off a passing osprey (top right dot and a smaller dot under anglian water):
Is this goig to be the Stick of the Day? No! See later!
Seemed to sink into the nest on landing:
First her:
Then him:
Got tucked under beautifully:
Loved her and left her:
Mrs5R:
Gets interrupted:
Maya leaving:
Backwards descent:
And he nestcupped:
Is this going to be the Stick of the Day? Maybe :o
This will be in the Grand Final of Freeze of the Day - Maya's talons:
Then they dropped down one on top of the other for a mating and Blue33 took his leave:
I said to myself: "The next stick, I'm giving up" - and look what happened - I almost ROFL'd literally:
Using skis LOL - Great set of pics scylla!!

Brilliant SCYLLA 33 looks as though he is on stilts in that last capture
Maya was picking up scraps of fish when 33 came into mate and she seemed to get a piece of fish stuck in her mouth!
Three deliveries, four sticks ;-)
"Was this a Lapwing exhibiting for Maya?" (I think I saw it on Springwatch last week.)
I'm up to about 11:15 and worn out, but think what other treasures may be waiting to be found? :-(
SCYLLA, your sequence of captures is a classic. A pole vaulting, stilt walking osprey. Absolutely brilliant.
