Hi all!
Lindybird I am so happy for you and OH. Lovely breed, my sister has a Springer and he is gorgeous and such a gentle natured dog.
Thanks, Margo - my OH had one when he was a teenager, and loves them. They are supposed to be very good with children so we hope that there will be no problems with the g'children. Not even told our family about this, yet!!
LINDY I'm so happy for you both xxx
What a lovely breed to choose, Linda. Congratulations. Friends of ours have one, Cocoa, and he is so lovely. He is so friendly and well trained and will walk for miles and miles, but when he is off the lead across the fields, he has been known, on quite a few occasions, to return with a rabbit and even a pheasant. His coat is so lovely and soft and he loves to be brushed.
Congratulations, Linda and OH - but not the docked tail, I hope? (as seen in the photo).
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
How exciting for you Lindybird, Springers are such lovely dogs, you must be so looking forward to having her, you will have lots of fun with her, I'm sure.
Yes, do agree with you Lindybird.
HeatherB - glad things have resolved themselves.
Brenda - the tumour is inoperable. He has to go for a measuring up on Monday and they hope to start radiotherapy in February so we just have to wait and see and hope he does't deteriorate before then.
Lovely to hear from you Margo.
On a brighter note - pic coming up of surviving chic , growing.........
