Hi all!
Hi all, tried to post the other day and thought it had - my fault.
Read all the news, great to hear from Margo, George, and everyone. Some of you it seems are suffering both health and with the weather. Do hope you all pick up soon and those that are suffering with the really wintry weather - stay safe and warm.
New blog from Jen - reminding us about the Big Bird Count this weekend - musn't forget to do it.
Margo - glad the chemo session is over for another time and hope you are feeling a lot better soon.
Went to the gym and managed 18 lengths in 3 lots of 6 - trying to keep that up now and will try and increase in a while. Off out to lunch tomorrow to an Italian Resteraunt in town - one of Amazon's local deals. As the weather is unpredictable this time of year decided to do a lunch date for birthday instead of an evening meal.
Posting about 3 pics of the eaglets growing up and feeding:

I have spent my day with the HW and ironing. The snow was insignificant and soon disappeared when we had light rain, which lasted most of the day.
OG, I hope you are not feeling any worse today.
Wendy, Sorry, but I did laugh at your frozen food, but I don't think I would like tomato sorbet or kidney bean lollies, thank you :-))
Margo, I see your favourite tennis player won his match.
Lynette, Do enjoy your meal tomorrow and--
A Very Happy Birthday.
( If you post at your usual time, tomorrow, your Birthday will nearly be over LOL )
A nice bit of colour to cheer us up, Brenda! Lynette - Enjoy your Birthday and your meal out ( tell us what you ate!). I should be fast asleep as I said a couple of hours ago that I was going to go to bed early, but somehow I watched Paul O'Gradys animals programme and then started reading an old newspaper.....lights out now!! Goodnight All, take care of yourselves. (& Hope OG and J are feeling better on the morrow).
Evening all: Long, long day in the garden. Filled a green bin to the brim and beyond with leaves and pruned branches, etc., and you'd never know it from the look of things. Love the idea of videos of crackling fires; maybe I'll get one of a downpour.
Lynette: Happy Birthday! Tra-la. Take it easy building up those laps at the pool.
Margo: Had to smile at your description of good TV programs being like buses! Nothing and then they all come at once. It's an international phenomenon. :-) I'm sure Billie is getting the very best care, courtesy of you and your OH. You take care of yourself too.
George: Your SiL is very lucky to have such a willing helper. Let us know how Diesel is doing.
Heather: Hope S's paranoia can be dealt with as quickly as possible and that the folks at the home don't assume it's just "old age."
WendyB: So did you have frozen bean lollies and tomato sorbet for dinner?
AQ: Hope nanny duty wasn't too exhausting today.
OG: Three hot water bottles and an electric blanket? Or there's always a video of a crackling fire. :-)
Diane: Hope you haven't been carried away by RTH! :-)
Not in my nightie yet, but it's looking more appealing by the minute. Yawn...
Happy Birthday Lynette enjoy your day and meal out.
Good morning Linda. love the panda pic.
Good morning all
Happy birthday LYNETTE, I hope that you enjoy your lunch.
Nice to 'See' you, GEORGE, but sorry to read about your sister in law's illness and also Diesel's problems.
MARGO- Thank you for the post and also for our telephone chat the other afternoon. I'm sorry that I kept re-arranging it but as with the TV programmes, no visitors for ages and then several all at once!
ANNETTE- You have indeed been doing a lot outside and I for one never have a problem with having a shower at the end of a busy afternoon and getting straight into a dressing gown. My mother would most definitely not have approved but lets hope that she is not looking down on me with 'that look'.
I hope that OG is beginning to feel better, also J. I still have my fingers crossed that EE doesn't succumb.
WENDY- It took a few seconds to realise what you meant by sorbet and lollies but once the penny dropped I'm sorry to say I had a good laugh!
LINDY etc Sorry to have missed your posts last evening, I tend to start reading in bed at about 9.30, get absorbed and forget about all else. I often retreat to the bedroom fairly early as OH watches a lot of TV and our tastes are completely different. If I want to,can watch from bed with different skybox but mostly it's a book.
Eldest daughter Lucy is taking me out for lunch today, my birthday treat. Said birthday was in November but I was in Tenerife and then time just flew by.
Regards to all-
