I can get the Pink Shell cam at Fort Myer, but have never been lucky enough to find anything other than an empty nest.
Keith, Thanks for the Florida pics! Are you in Florida now?
June, Thanks for the map showing where Millie is. What a bird! As for snow on roofs--I know some people have roof rakes in the US, to remove possibly dangerous accumulations before there is a problem.
Willow, Lucky you, to have Black Caps singing for you and in your garden. I can count the ones seen in our garden on one hand and have fingers left over!
CC, Glad you only have a few inches of snow. How much snow did Buffalo have this time?
Kind regards, Ann
Gardenbirder - No not in Florida - Going over in May to our home in Lake Beuana Vista then down to Naples and Sanibel area.
I am off to Equatorila Guinea (Bioko Island) on Sunday so hope to see a few ospreys around.
Snow closing in around Dunblane - Main road north A9 up to Gleneagles at present not passable and neither is the road South. Going nowhere :).
Enjoy the snow from the inside out , Keith. Best way! It should all be cleared up before you have to take off to Bioko.
What do you think of Millicent's extended migration?
Keith, It should be lovely and hot in Florida in May. Do you rent out your home there to other Ospreyholics when you are not there?! Best of luck with the weather on Sunday to fly to Africa, and before that, to travel to the airport through all that snow! I hope you see lots of Ospreys on Bioko, especially, what was it again--14?
Ah, I found a live osprey at Sanibel Osprey cam.
Good evening all. CC very glad you did not recieve a heavy dumping of snow and you are OK!
Keith hope the snow disappears for you when you have to travel meanwhile enjoy staying home in the warm! We are due a little dusting but nothing like those in Scotland and Northern England. Doesnt take much to cause chaos specially on the rails!
June I also wonder where Fish is just hope everything ok. Not seen her post for sometime now.
Keith I hope you will see White14 when you go to Bioko Island.
