Happy New Week all.
Just popping in to to say, Good Morning. Had a surprise yesterday, when I got off the coach. My daughter and her boyfriend were waiting for us to arrive. They had come off night duty and driven over to have breakfast with us. I didn't get much shopping done but it was lovely to see them.I have skimmed through your posts and see that you are all fine. Off out to lunch with the bowls ladies in an hour, so need to move and get ready. I will look in later.
BRENDA - what a lovely surprise for you, having breakfast with your daughter and Boyfriend!
J is much better: when we went for my haircut, he took a lift down the road and then walked back to enjoy some fresh air in the lovely sunshine.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Thanks for your feedback re the bird at Pete's Pond, much appreciated.
Managed to do 8 lengths on the trot today, followed by 6 then 4. Jiggered afterwards but have managed to step up a bit. Target eventually is to do 10 on the trot!!!!
Was at our Ladies meeting this afternoon and we had a Tradecraft stall run by one of our ladies from church. Bought 2 small bags for shopping and 2 teatowels - all as sm. additions to main presents for
family.

Just read all your news, nice to hear that a lot of people are busy. Must make mince pies this week and freeze.
Liz & Annette – I don’t know why I am attracted to old churches, something about the different styles and the atmosphere in & around them appeals to me.
Sorry, Kangaroo paws are so familiar that I didn’t think of explaining. Their common name is derived from them opening with 6 claw-like structures. They are native to SW of West Aussieland, but now there are cultivated varieties for gardeners. The red & green (previous pics) are the most well-known. Various colours, red, green, yellow. Here some I snapped in Kings Park, Perth.
My not-so-good pic of the so-called Black kangaroo paw. (Google black kangaroo paw” for better Images).
See HERE or HERE for other pics.
I met Miss3’s new dog yesterday – surprisingly light considering his size. Miss3 hasn’t grasped the naming of her toys yet – he is Dog as are the other trillion on her pillow LOL. Her mother always came up with creative inventive names for her toys, but she was older then.
Evening all: Will have to catch up tomorrow. Spent the evening doing all our Christmas cards!!!! A first! (Won't be mailing them for another week or two though.)
Lovely photo of Miss3 - but that Dog would scare me at the bottom of my bed - those eyes!
Same good weather. Busy HW etc day today, with alarm inspection this afternoon. J was all fine at dentist - not even a scrub and polish. OH has to go tomorrow - has broken a tooth, just two weeks before our check-up appointment!
Christmas card inserts written this afternoon - now got to stick them in. I do them before sticking them in case I make mistakes,; that way I don't have to tear up whole cards if I go wrong!
Afternoon all: Another busy-ish morning.
Sounds like everyone is the same, what with one thing or t'other.
AQ: Tx for more Kangaroo pix, also Miss3 with her huge stuffed creature. Where does he sleep?
Gray and overcast here; we're hoping for rain but soooo grateful we don't live near the Great Lakes (or any points east/north right now for that matter).
Off out tonight, so have a good Thursday all.
