Never mind, Diane - not your fault! When I wrote "sweary word" my tablet put "sweaty word!!" LOL!

Gosh, its been exciting! What amazing pictures they're getting. And how excited are the scientists?!!

Brenda, Lindy, Rita, and all: This BBC article doesn't seem very positive about Philae's situation. But I caught the end of the Slooh broadcast, and those astronomers said they had just received word that the lander is stable and all of the instrumentation is operational and in good working order. Slooh seemed very positive that the mission would continue as hoped. The ESA livestream has ended for me. So I don't know!

AQ: I thought the photos of your grandchildren were wonderful. The new babies look very happy, healthy, and beautiful. I'm always amazed at LM's intensity in her photos. She always seems very intelligent.

Thanks Diane. I hope the  Slooh report means that Philea is well anchored. I was wondering if it was such a soft landing, did the harpoons have anything to grip. Further reports tomorrow. We will have to be patient.

Linda, I can't believe you would swear :-))  Sweaty words must mean that you became. "all hot and bothered. "  LOL

Oh, dear! Yes I do swear, though perhaps not as much as the youngsters seem to do these days. I save it for special occasions ;-). And I still get hot & bothered quite often, even though my doctor told me fifteen years ago that I might have hot flushes " for a couple of years" so that was rather an underestimate :-)

Glad that Margo finally got to post. I wrote a reply but lost it. And Brenda, I see that you have emailed me - I've only just read it so will write back to you tomorrow. My Friend has her little dog at home now & is waiting to see if he will perk up and eat anything, otherwise its feared he might have kidney problems in addition to his other concerns. We will have to wait & see. Night All.

Today I've been hibernating as it reached a smidgeon under 39 earlier. Salad for tea - OH is not excited but is happy the stove will be off. Cool change tomorrow. Watch this space - I have an excursion to Barossa planned with Coffee-Friend. (Usual Chauffeur-Friend is gallivanting around Tasmania.)
