Morning all: Check back the last page of the previous week to catch up with bits and bobs of news.
We put our clocks back tonight - and I also pulled out the space heater as my feet are cold and I haven't dug out my toasty slippers yet. We had more lovely showers today, but it's supposed to warm up later this week for a few days. We're in this in-between stage when it's quite warm during the day but decidedly cooler at night.
OG; Thanks for letting us know Diane is expecting snow; I hope it's not too severe. My NY friends are dreading a repeat of last winter, when the temps dropped sharply early in the winter and stayed there all winter.
Take care all.
BRENDA Thank you for the explanation of the removal of the poppies from the tower. A very poignant memorial anyway and now doubly so.
A truely wonderful day here so we headed down to Loch an Eilein, via MC of course. Half way round the Loch a couple caught up with us. They were originally from the Western Isles and now based in Abdn area. Her 9 year old Cocker was not with them. After a few minutes conversation it seemed the most natural thing to carry on together so our walk started with 2 plus Benson and finished with 4 plus Benson. Hope they enjoyed our company as much as we did theirs.
Sounds wonderful, dibnlib. I think you've had better weather than we have! Drizzly etc. for a lot of the day....
I've come on to put up some more pics of dear little Matthew, we took these when he was one day old & we visited them.
--- sorry if I'm boring you !!
Lindybird - I doubt if you are boring any of us!
