Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Heather: Congratulations on the upcoming birth in your family!
Lindy: Best wishes to you and your family for the impending birth!
Just read all your news.
Dau. has managed to get someone from church to attend the meeting with her and the Chairperson so hopefully something will be resolved. As far as I can ascertain its not that she could lose her job more a plan of action to help her with the dreaded paperwork as according to the heirarchy she takes too long in doing. Well, when you are only there for 4hrs in a morning and expected to write up several things, I mean!!! even I couldn't cope with that. On top of that she has another job to go to in the afternoon - has to do 2 jobs in order to stay afloat even though she is living at home. Enough of my ramblings, just thought I'd get it off my chest.
There are more important things going on in the world - we're always reading about someone being killed or a horrible virus taking over many lives. Must remember all the good things that are going on too.
George, you and me both, waiting for April again, still only just over 6months to wait.
Lovely pic of mum and baby ele, Lindybird.
Pete's Pond put a vid on Facebook re family of ostriches and managed to get a shot of them
she'd brought them down to the waterhole for a drink.

Awwwww! Lynette, they're so sweet - it's hard to believe they will grow to be such a huge bird.
OG – Yes I intend to return to my library research regularly, maybe even next week, as I need the not-for-loan books to help with the brief history I put with my church photos. Plus I may even choose the same day as Friend, then we can munch our sandwiches together & natter. As for Dau, she still has the nanny but t’other g-m won’t be helping as much as she has been. I shouldn’t complain too much as she does have part-time paid work. But I hope it doesn’t mean I have to take Miss3 to playgroup. Oh dear, I’m too old for this <grin>
Welcome back ANNETTE
