Hi All: I'm a bit early starting this since it's right before midnight your time. Anyway, on the last page of the previous Weekly Chat, Tiger had some interesting info about what's involved in putting forward Big Ben. I had no idea. And Cirrus posted a shot of two very noisy creatures (thankfully we can't hear them!). And Soosin is looking for Karen. Had a nice day out with daughter; won't be around tomorrow evening your time as I'm taking the train down to Burbank Airport to meet a friend for dinner who's got a stopover there for a few hours en route to her home in Sacramento. Won't be home 'til around 10:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. UK time.
Cirrus lovely views at LOL now she is sitting preening, perhaps getting ready for Eric.

Spiders - OH NO ... I have a complete phobia ... can only cope with tiny 'money' spiders ... its a mug and cardboard to get rid of them if there's no-one to help. I once fainted when someone opened a box to show me something inside .... it was the shed skin of a pet tarantula! To be fair they didn't know about my phobia. I will not be looking at the link to Aussie spiders :((

Just noticed EJ back on nest
Good morning and a happy Easter to one and all. Just checked the webcam at Lagoon 4 at RW and there is a bird on the nest - not an osprey unfortunately, appears to be an Egyptian Goose:

Hope that 32(05)'s mate makes it back soon - really don't want another season of watching an empty nest at RW. :-((
Sandy: I noticed an egg in that nest yesterday and now we have an Egyptian goose. There were similar problems at Manton Bay last year and in the end the nest was unused.
LOTL female really does have an amazing view:
Alan that is a stunning view of LOL and of Mabel or Marje whichever you want to call her.
Wow! What a great pic, Alan - I shall save that one, thanks.

She has a greater spotted Woodpecker for a neighbour ! It's great to hear him hammer away when I check in on Marge. Can't wait to get sound from LG
