This topic replaces Satellite Tracked Ospreys (non-LG) Aug 2012-Sep 2014
The scope - following the travels of tracked ospreys "not from Loch Garten", either originating in the UK or overseas.
Can I ask for some help in starting off the thread. If you are the first person to post about a bird in the restarted thread, can you please give the name of the project which is tracking it, and supply a link to the project website.
Many thanks - Sue
Yes DL Kielder is interesting, one in Portugal, one in Morroco, the big question is will they stay or will they go. :-)

Lonaig (Aberfoyle) is also still in Portugal. He has been at Aveiro, on the central west coast, since 7th September.
FK8 (Tweed Valley) was also in Portugal - central Algarve - at their last report, though this only goes to the end of September.
Very sad news. It looks as if Heikki is lost.

Update on Kielder 7H and UV.
Thanks Jaydee for this very detailed and interesting blog.
Sad about Heikki Tiger!
Tero now in Saudi heading for the Persian Gulf?
A bit of an indirect way to get there!
Looking for Assistance - URDAIBAI TRANSLOCATION PROJECT.
The last information I have recorded is Humbolt arriving in Guinea Bissau on Sept 26 and feeding on the Geba River. I am assuming this may be the end of his journey and the project just has not updated now that he is settled. I am also assuming that maybe I am on the wrong saved page and there may be further reports.
Does anyone have any further info - my saved ES site is more up to date using Google Translate than English Site.
I am also assuming this is the only remaining bird in contact.
I dont think we have reported ROTHIEMURCHUS latest from 26 October.
From Roy - Rothiemurchus is at his usual wintering site but has been flying 8 km east to Koutango and back on days of 20th to 22nd October.

Other news on October 26 from HFW
Blue XD - Blue XD is now well settled in exactly same place as last winter in southern Senegal.
Green J - Green J continued her normal wintering behaviour.
Beatrice - Still Very Restless Back and Forward but we see this behaviour from previous winters, Beatrice left her usual haunts on the Guadiaro in the afternoon of 5th October and flew back to the big reservoir at Istvan and then returned to River Guadiaro on morning of 16th October.
I must thank the people on here that keep us up to date with so many tracked ospreys, and from several countries. It is very interesting to see, and I know I would not manage to keep up myself.
