Checked the date twice this time round.
Here's to a pleasant new week all.
I put paragraphs in, which show up when I read back when on my desktop, but which don't come out here on my tablet device.....weird.
Limpy, agree with Brenda that we enjoyed your dear little wren, but how did you get on with your tour?? Expect you enjoyed yourself.
Its finally trying to rain here, now, but its not looking like much. The garden is becoming autumnal now with berries etc but we have a lovely show of fuchsias and still some clematis & geraniums.

Wendy, That is so appropriate for Heather.
Heather, You have to buy one, LOL
Clare: They have been talking about the Tesco debacle on BBC Radio2, and Simon Mayo said he would play records "for Accountants" today - he started with Depeche Mode and "Count" !!!
Just checking in - good to see MARGO's post, but sorry about OH's bad cold.
We are doing okay - all looking after each other!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Didn't expect to hear from you today, OG, as I'm sure you don't feel too chatty.... Glad that you say you are OK and all looking after each other.
Have just spoken to our Youngest, and they are busy in the kitchen baking pies.... what a time of night to be cooking!! D.inLaw is still doing well with her pregnancy and they are all excited about the coming baby, including Tomasz!! Not sure if he knows quite what the newcomer means in terms of sharing Mummy & Daddy.... But he will cope, I'm sure.
I'll be busy tomorrow, getting my haircut (again.... where does it all come from?) and starting my packing as we are off again to Wales on Thursday for a few days break. Meanwhile, here are some more pictures.
Before we saw the billy goats on the hillside, we had taken a walk in the hills. On the way we found this colourful sight: heather and gorse all over parts of the hill, bright in the sunshine:
"Nature's Garden" I said!!
After about one & a half miles (I had my stick for on the way back down again, a slight slope) we reached our goal: the coastline of Wales, laid out before us. Only wish my camera was better at distance shots, but you get the idea. This is the northern coast of the Llyn Peninsula, as it reaches up toward Caernarfon:
Here is my intrepid OH, looking at the view and squinting to see some landmarks:
(The Llyn Peninsula is the sticking out bit when you see the part of North Wales just below Anglesey, it is all very beautiful and unspoilt.)

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Glad to see Margo managed to post, thinking of you Margo and hope all goes well next week. Hope OH soon gets over his cold/cough.
Lovely pics Limpy.
OG, hope you and OH are getting through your colds/flue? and are beginning to feel a little better.
Managed a shorter swim today. Unable to go on Thursday as OH is commentating. Won't be there next week either as we are off to Bude for a few days on Monday - so am looking at places we might visit.
Since only putting food in feeders I have been getting a family of sparrows, blue/coal tits, the odd greenfinch and goldfinches. Primarily its the sparrow that are dominating for a change.
