Happy New Week.
Clare: Got the date right this time !
Rant over... Had a super day gardening:-)
Claire do you put water out for your garden birds??Mine must have been fish in their former life's. lolololol
Now, please come down to Plymouth and sort my "weed field out" Thank you . LOLOLOL
Fish... I can come down do a bit of weeding then pop to Dartmouth to visit very old.. in all ways.. friend:-)
We have two (artificial) watering holes in our garden. A blackbird half emptied one of them when it had a particularly splashy bath earlier.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
'Phew... And breathe... 11% clear margine for sanity'
Sorry Wendyb, I realise that this is a late reaction to your post but I've been elsewhere today. I hope you weren't inferring that those of a different opinion from yours were insane. I,for one, thought we just had different views. Something about respect, I think.
Gotta love them, those greedy piggies with wings. They cost a bomb to feed, they multi ply by the minute in my yard.
Well, common sense prevailed and we keep a United Kingdom. Talking of whisj
Talking of whisky, Wendy, I like the Talisker for its smoky, sea, flavour but only have it occasionally if I get a bottle for C.

I'd just like to say that I though Alex Salmond was magnanimous in his defeat and that of the "yes" vote and in stepping down. Let's move on to a more democractic way of government and hope that Cameron will deliver for the Scottish people and others. Time will tell. I'm not particularly political minded but for the sake of the Union it was the right way to go.
Annette - those brownies sound gorgeous. Haven't tried making them but dau has and somehow we can never get them quite as they should be.
Oh Alan, don't leave the forum. Even if there is disagreement it is not meant maliciously and everyone has a right to their opinions.
Right, enough said. Hope all have a good weekend.
By the way, looking at wedding outfits for our step-grand-daughters wedding next May. We may even go over to Poland for the Polish ceremony as her husband to be is Polish. They met at law school in Birmingham and are now living in Bristol both practising after qualifying. Husband to be commutes to Cardif whilst st.g.dau. practices in Bristol. Have found quite a few on the net and now have to weedle them down!!!!
