Just carrying over from last night Deri's last moments on the nest - just in case they are the last we see of the dear girl. I don't know if she is the bird flying onto the perch, or if it's Monty.
To my amazement, I found that I'd been recording the nest since last evening - 10h45m !!! And I could play it !!!
Here are the first visitors this morning: corvids that don't look like crows to me:
Then PATILY said :-)

IMAGICAT
No change to the above. I must go now.
EDIT. I tell a lie !! Deri back to her fish and is screaming.
Now on the perch screaming at Monty. Monty now alarm calling. SYL
I don't think the magpies are going to get far with that fish (famous last words).
Deri was on the nest eating her fish when suddenly she started wing flapping and fanning her tail I think she got her talons caught in the fish She then flew to the larch perch but took off again almost immediately Don't know where she is now
Looks like Deri, with her back to us, on the right hand side of the high T perch.
Birdies LG DU update.
Was watching Deri earlier this afternoon, high perch, then ground perch, then high perch. Couldn't make her mind up. She has had food today then.
Thanks for all updates etc.

At some point when I was watching this afternoon evening, Monty flew down to the nest where Deri was shouting and she practically pushed him off!
Edit: Looking back at chat, it was around 19:30!

Good morning, all. No birds in sight at the moment.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good morning, CLARE. Am just going to look-see if anyone has been around.
Good morning ladies.
