The day is dawning mistily on what will probably be the first osprey-free day of the scintillating 2014 LG season. Has Odin departed? Surely he has.
IMAGICAT
not only misty there but a very cold 2C and scraping the ice of the windscreen when I left the area at 5.30am this morning
Brrr, keep warm LMAC and WENDY! It's grey, windy and wet down here.
Sunny at LG 10.25
and just after 09.06 we had a wee visitor which I think was a robin, rather than a chaffinch.
I did snip it, but I seem to have deleted it!
I loved your refining of Odin's last sighting Scylla. Thank you.
Have a great time with your family Limpy & Clare.

Thank you TIGER, it is good that the VC are keeping folk informed.
10.53 Odin perched in the camera tree this morning, then chased a buzzard away.
I've suddenly got a hum on the cam?? Not sure whether that is good news or bad when we have nothing to listen to!
So Odin was still here this morning and still keeping up the good work Thanks TIGE
Great excitement for one second when something on the nest caught my eye - but it was the buffering sign.
It looks beautiful up at LG, blue sky and a sunny nest. Sounds as though Odin is still not convinced all his girls are gone but perhaps he knows the weather further south is awful (grey and very wet in London) and is just biding his time before his long journey south :-)
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
It does look Lovely BIRDSONG. I remain ever hopeful that Odin will pop in one last time!
LG VC followed up their Tweet with a FB entry, just saying more of less the same as the tweet, but it is good to hear their news.
LG has also updated their FB page - about an hour ago
RSPB Operation Osprey
Odin has been around again this morning, doing what he does, perching in the camera tree and chasing off the odd buzzard!"
