It is another quiet early morning on the nest with the dreaded ENS to look at.
It seem so unreal as a short time a go we were looking at three eggs on the nest and the three young Ospreys
and now all I seem to be looking at is sticks and twigs are well roll on nest season.
Back to this season young ones with Seasca gone and Millicent and Druie still hanging around calling Odin for fish.
Who is going to leave on there migration next and when?
Personally my bet is on Druie to go next on Saturday/Sunday but time will tell.

Morning ALL Thank you Roberto for the thumbs up to the new blog. Well done Wendy for keeping it to yourself!
Oh my goodness. Is this going to be another Alba migration! I can't get rid of the pink line which I think was Lalli (Scandinavia!) but Alba's route on 26-27 August 2012 gives a good indication of where Seasca might be going.
Yet again I have to use the word 'amazing' for our wonderful ospreys, but why do they put themselves, and us thru it by taking this adventurous route? She seems to have chosen a particularly watery way to get south! Irish Sea, Cardigan Bay, Channel, BoB!

Oh thanks so much for providing context, Sheila! Perfect! All I can think is that weather conditions are favorable to be traveling across the water. Hopefully Seasca's keen eyesight also provides help. I can't wait until she gets ACROSS. If I were her, I would have slept in too, before trying the journey over...
Alba's journey across the Bay in 2012 was about 540 km (335 miles). eek.

Wendy can't wait to hear the Harleys tomorrow. They are riding out from Aviemore at 12ish and then route through Carrbridge across the Dava round Lochindorb and back to Grantown for the Hog Roast. I just love them and the noise is incredible :)
I'm a complete numpty at this sort of thing, but taking the points mentioned by Mike in his update on Seasca I have tried to put in her route - in pink. The white line is Alba (12) and the red line is Breagha (13). The other line on the far right with three digits just ignore! I can't get rid of it! Seasca appears to be taking a very direct southerly route at the moment.
Sadly I haven't seen any sign of any osprey at all today, so thanks for the pics vids and reports on the two fish deliveries for Millie and Druie. It's good to now they have eaten today, after the fest of fish over EJ's last couple of days.
A sad sight
Odin With fish 14:43
And no girls to take the fish
Looking in and see that it has been confirmed that Seasca has left. God speed her on her journey. Now just Druie and Millie to leave plus of course Odin.

Lovely to pop in and find His Highness Handsome Odin on the nest waiting for a taker for his fish
Odin is back with a small fish, waiting for someone to take it.
Odin has arrived with a small fish, not takers as yet.
Odin is looking beautiful in the sunshine, as he looks around for MIllie and Druie. Rather a tiny bit of fish though, a tail-end.
