The Centre has confirmed that we've lost EJ for another autumn/winter - and we have not seen Seasca for more than a day, but then she has been elusive lately.
Millie and Druie were well fed yesterday by their faithful father, we expect no less of Odin the Magnificent :-*
What will today bring?

Good morning scylla. I am on my way to bed, just checking in to see if anything has been happening early in the morning. Lovely nest but nobody there. Dyfi just waking up to morning sounds, too... good night, all. Hope we learn if Seasca has indeed departed, as Limpy suspects.

Unless a bird zooms into view within the next few seconds, I'm off to sleep too - sorry I missed you yet again, CC :-*
SYAL.
Good morning, all. The nest is empty at the moment.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Morning CLARE
This is like the proverbial paint drying analogy!
It's awful to think of EJ being gone and yet I'm pleased she is on her way to more hospitable weather. I just wish she could fly over me just as I'm looking up.
Meant to have commented on EJ's (almost certain) departure.
If she left on Monday she could be a long way south by now Fly safe and stay safe dear girl.Have a wonderful winter and see you in the spring....and may next season be as glorious as this one
I was going to say that perhaps she is flying over Felixstowe LOL!
Morning PATILY and CLARE, CC and SCYLLA when they pop in. Such a sad sight. No eager juvies waiting for a fish, no EJ waiting patiently for the to come in.
Oh, I've just seen a birdie or two up in the blue sky. Was that an osp I wonder. A large drop of rain fell from the top of the cam, although it looks fairly clear. Who will be the first to land...
May the wind be strong under the wings of EJ and Seasca.
