Well that was relatively painless :-)
We have lost our crystal clear nest, the fuzz started yesterday evening. I'd love to know why.
No confirmation of any "losses" yet (we had a false alarm about Seasca - we didn't see her all day but LG posted a lovely photo of her drooping in the rain), but it can't be long before the first of our birds starts out on its (probably "her") long and perilous journey south. The juvies must be as strong as oxes... or oxen, even, but that doesn't sound right in this context.
I'll be amazed if any of that makes sense, I've been tracking thru yesterday's DU (slowly!) confirming things.
IMAGICAT
Looks like she's there now with her own! All three birds now mantling like crazy and screaming.
CORRECTION. It's Druie with the fish and the third bird has flown
Birdies LG DU update.
EJ arrives with breakfast for Druie when suddenly they are all mantling. EJ flies off and the girls continue to mantle over their fish
All calm now

Seasca has missed out again How odd!
Thank you for that Patilly. All I got was a blur!!. Something really upset them all.
Morning All
These girls are certainly getting built up for their migration, Odin and EJ are doing a grand job of feeding them, they really are wonderful parents. Going to read back now :-)

Girls mantling furiously again
Hi MARY
Stopped mantling but haven't resumed eating
Morning Patily
Druie tucking in with wild abandon, but Millicent Seasca was still looking around herself, now she is getting stuck in too Ha Ha... maybe an intruder around! With the amount of fish delivered I don't think EJ and Odin get much of a rest LOL... back and forth doing fish runs :-)
I'm concerned that Seasca didn't eat yesterday and she hasn't appeared again this morning Hope she is OK
Odin brought yet another fish.....but is gone already!
