Thunderstorms last night knocked out LG webcam (and Dyfi) so we started the day anxious to know what was happening - had Druie taken to the skies again, how were the fish deliveries faring etc. It was the afternoon before the internet was restored to LG and sure enough, there was Druie on the nest :-)
My access to the DU is so slow that I haven't been able to catch up properly but one thing I was astonished to see was Odin nest-cupping! Druie's only just fledged - definitely not time yet for the traditional scraping and crossed sticks!
When I checked the webcam close to night cam time (expecting ENS) the whole family appeared - Odin providing another late night fish. Amazingly the 3 sisters are together tonight on the nest - anyone would think they were huddling together for warmth!!!
Here's a snap - I'm not even going to try and work out who's flapping...
Tiger and Chloe's Osprey Info
EJ is nestorising:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Druie displays an impeccable sense of timing:
'Was it something I said, Mum?'
She sits for another moment and then flies off:
Oh dear, Druie was too late :'(
IMAGICAT
Morning! I've just caught up with events this morning. How lovely to see so many of them on the nest, and some super captures too from everyone. I must thank Scylla for the vid y'day with stills of Druie. That was lovely.
Sad to say (visitors) I won't be around much for the next two to three days, but will try to say hi, every now and again.
ENS just now, but earlier when I was reading, the cam zoomed onto the Darvic but I missed what number it had.

Druie shouted and shouted but it was no good:
EJ had waited 2h14m (barring bathroom break), at last the kids arrived one by one... but Druie was far too late, EJ fled as soon as she flew in :o
EJ has been a very patient bird this morning. That's an impressive length of time to wait.
See you all later!
Editing error, too much EJ preamble, sorry :-(
Lovely to see EJ on the nest this morning, waiting to feed her brood. Poor Druie - she's found her wings, now needs to keep an eye out for possible signs of fish availability!
