Thunderstorms last night knocked out LG webcam (and Dyfi) so we started the day anxious to know what was happening - had Druie taken to the skies again, how were the fish deliveries faring etc. It was the afternoon before the internet was restored to LG and sure enough, there was Druie on the nest :-)
My access to the DU is so slow that I haven't been able to catch up properly but one thing I was astonished to see was Odin nest-cupping! Druie's only just fledged - definitely not time yet for the traditional scraping and crossed sticks!
When I checked the webcam close to night cam time (expecting ENS) the whole family appeared - Odin providing another late night fish. Amazingly the 3 sisters are together tonight on the nest - anyone would think they were huddling together for warmth!!!
Here's a snap - I'm not even going to try and work out who's flapping...

Can't be the T&T that is holding him up Scylla - he must have slept in :-) :-)
All Alone Awww!
Good morning, all. For a change the first bird I see on the nest is the beautiful EJ:
I wonder why she's lurking here?
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good morning all. Patily you were right. We had storms throughout the night and at 5 50am I thought,"I'll have another 5 minutes"!. Look what happened!.
Birdies LG DU update.
Tut Tut Mike - 2 hours of a lie in :-) :-)
BFN - before the flak comes.
Watching EJ at the moment you almost get the impression she is waiting for a date with Odin - and he's late, from the expression on her face.
Good morning CLARE and MIKE (better late than never - in a nice way ;-) ).
"Just for the record", EJ was feeding all three girls and one by one they left (Druie did an elegant fly-away) - since when, 0742hr, EJ has been standing alone on the nest.

Thanks, Scylla. I wish EJ would turn around and let us all see her better.
