AS usual the chicks (juvies yet?) have had periods of activity - fidgetiness really. One of the elders was asleep with her back to the wind but the disturbance to her feathers didn't rouse her - her sister's wing did, though, and she got up and was nearly somersaulted by the wind :o
Later, EJ arrived, uneasy, just as she had been last night. Eventually she settled to a comfortable pose, she's still there now:
This is from yesterday - I know certain Odin fans will like to see him perched on a stick, on which he landed (but I just missed the landing thru a blackage) and stayed while he made sure there was no threat:

Morning Granny Smith and thanks for letting us know that Odin has been to the nest I missed that as I was on the phone.

So glad to see Odin when I swiched over...managed a little clip of him before flying off. I wonder if there is another bird around, he looked as though he was checking all was well. Perhaps just being an attentive parent but have feeling someone is in the area.
Odin The Magnificent potters then flies away....
Just read back again in a quiet moment - thanks for your reports LIMPY and GRANNY SMITH; so there was an intruder earlier,..I though so by the behaviour, nice to get confirmation:-)
Good afternoon Mims and thanks for the video off Odin
