Must say a belated thanks to STARLING for her capture of Laddie bringing Lady a fish on the 30th June around 4pm - I had resigned myself to not seeing them together again this season. I feel lucky spotting anyone on the nest live, let alone a fish delivery!

I'm so glad I made it to LotL last year and had wonderful views of Lady and Blue YZ (it made me feel the loss of Lady's 50th chick even more keenly). Fingers crossed that there is still hope for Lady's return next season and another possible chick - she is such an amazing osprey that you never know!

Hi Birdsong:-) Yes, it has been a 'double edged sword' at Lotl this year but fantastic that you got there to see Lady and BlueYZ last year, to have happy memories especially of the little one. Such a shock and so sad to lose her though (YZ):-((

ENS at present, but I try to imagine Laddie and Lady not far off, as with Manton Bay this year.

I was just about to say day 2 and haven't seen either on the nest when I went for a last look and .....
