For our birds, a day of adjustment and settling yesterday (and didn't they do well?!). For us, relief to see them so healthy and active, and a belated blog that was worth waiting for.
The nature of tonight's "nightlight" has shown EJ up for what she probably always is during the night - a bird tolerant of insects flitting around her head:
And then this chappie came along :o
A chick failed to dislodge it but EJ succeeded as she flew off:
