EJ took a break @ 0204hr, she had only just been visible standing on the far right:
She returned @ 0237hr:
I've got more to add but... dang!
IMAGICAT
Morning Scylla! Up early for a work trip and just looking in. Chicks are on their own on the nest at the moment - I wonder if today is the day EJ goes fishing again? She quite often does around this time I think!
Sorry I can't stop around in next couple of days, hope to be back and chatting again this weekend!
Chocoholix shiny new 2018 Interactive Osprey & Chick Chart! (with clickable links!)
And EJ returned, and then flew off again, while I was posting the above! As Clare might say, she's looking her Beautiful self!
Just after EJ returned there seemed to be a minor disturbance, something she was not happy about - after looking around she flew off and more-or-less straight back:
She settled down with the chicks (juvies yet?):
Someone wriggled:
So EJ got up an took up her usual post, and there was some stirring:
She did some pottering:
And took off @ 0348hr:
#3, I think, got up to remove something uncomfortable from the mattress:
DAYCAM 0355hr:
EJ returned and got a peck for her trouble so she didn't stay long. It looked as though she called once or twice:
Now one of the chicks is "up" preening, being watched by one and ignored by the other.
Morning CHOCO! Sorry I missed you :-*
Good morning all... EJ in camera tree... sunrise is going to be colourful .. eerie sound of a Roe Deer rutting.
Good morning, WENDYb -) Thank you for the early morning scene :-)
FISH @ 0506hr !!!!!! a long silvery one again:
Aha! A view of the whole fish!
And #1 is not terribly hungry, a poop was perpetrated (see how I put it passive tense to avoid using a gender? ;-) ).
Then #2 had one before resuming breakfast:
Morning Scylla and Wendy (writing now from train to airport so can't see the cam) - sorry to miss you earlier Scylla! Your use of passive verbs to avoid gender issues above made me smile!
Wendy thanks for added on site observations - great to have!!
