Another day of peace and plenty has passed. It's getting more and more difficult to tell the three chicks apart, though #3 still looks smaller if you get the right view. Earlier, the spider who is presumably responsible for the night-time cotton-wool balls put in a glowing appearance on the right edge of the lens:

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

One-legged EJ is beautiful but we can't see it because she is behind the splodge.
