We're having a midnight feast! Well, a night-time feast.
EJ got up at 0325hr:
She began to feed herself and the chicks from last night's leftover:
Right thru DAYCAM @ 0339hr:
#3 was hidden all the way thru, but at the end contributed to an almost symmetric array of chicks:
Then EJ settled back on the chicks, giving their heads protection at least ;-)
IMAGICAT
Odin Magnifico comes immediately to collect the fish as EJ moves away

Thank you for all the captures, PATILY - I'm thoroughly wilted, can't even take a snapshot of Monty in close-up preening his breast. See ya later :-*
Rest up SCYLLA
Good night/morning Scylla. SYL.
Birdies LG DU update.
Kids up and doing a bit of exploring as EJ stands on 1 leg at the side
Odin returns with the remains of the fish but EJ not rushing to take it
Kids watch and then start to settle except #1
the 3 have gone back to sleep EJ holing her one legged pose and dozing Odin still holding a good sized portion of fish
Odin has just left and taken the fish with him....he was very patient and waited over 15minutes
Good morning, all! What a difference to last night's captures of a soaking wet EJ:
It's good to know that Moby Dick arrived to add to this picture of contentment. His Gorgeousness is doing so magnificently this season!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
She has flown.
