EJ is soaked to the skin - see how her feathers have parted under the weight of water :'(
Odin has been literally magnificent, providing good fish throughout the periods of bad weather, but it can't be easy so we must hope that it does not become sustained heavy rain.
On a lighter note - and don't tell me to get a life, though you'd find it hard to resist if you knew how long this took me - here is how the blurry blob got on the lens, the night before last. Yes, it's chick-poo, thank goodness it's small and didn't land in the middle of the lens, but there's plenty of time for a growing chick to perfect its aim :-(
IMAGICAT
Bump!
Because there's no sound, apart from crackles etc, we can't tell if it's still raining - but EJ is still looking thoroughly miserable:
We're half an hour later than daycam time yesterday and it hasn't come on yet :o I'm just waiting for it so I can retire.
DAYCAM 0447hr:
What a sad sight.
I'm off now, SYAL.
At least I'm leaving EJ with her head held high :-*
Good night Scylla!
Birdies LG DU update.
I presume it is still raining as nearly an hour later the scene looks exactly the same.
Wonder if anything can be done about the sound?
Good morning Patily.
Good Morning MIKE
