  • If he can bring in fish in the middle of a thunderstorm, this mizzling weather is no problem for his Magnificence I hope!

  • Clare will assure us that 'His Gorgeousness' will provide!.

  • Good Morning CHOCOHOLIX, MIKE, CLARE and PATILY! What a soggy, misty day! but EJ not so wet. Hope it brightens soon.

I looked back at video of EJ taking fish away.  My thoughts are that she did not like that fish at all for one reason or another. I wonder why?

Hope you enjoyed rest of your holiday at Dyfi Choco.

  • I do indeed have faith in His Gorgeousness....so does this chick:

    Awww!

Our herring gulls are red listed birds.  Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

  • EJ was missing when I looked in. She has now returned with a sizeable branch!

  • EJ doing the housekeeping. One chick is watching, the other two snuggling to keep warm

Hi Stingray! It was great to meet you too! I had an awesome time at Dyfi, amazing team and even doing a 9 hour night shift was not boring for 1 second! I got to walk out along the boardwalk into the reserve at 4am, with the dawn chorus! This is what the observatory looks like in the pre-dawn light (no filters, honest!)

I won't post any more Dyfi photos here, cos it's an LG thread, but couldn't resist sharing just this one for you!

  • A quick look of disgust, presumably for the weather:

The two older chicks are having a scrap!

  • Chocoholix, great photo!  Plus it's always nice to meet other posters.
