Happy New Week all.
Love them LYNETTE especially the bittern
I've cheated Lynette and copied your idea and was lucky enough to see the male bullfinch come in with food for the chicks

I'm really enjoying the Springwatch captures - they're gorgeous!
I have just cycled home from my burlesque class and I'm absolutely shattered! It's all very well putting a leisure centre in a picturesque spot on the seafront but most people going home from it are going up a steep hill.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Great capture, Pattily. Everytime I went to 1 or other cam the bullfinches were not on. Going to copy and paste to my file on Springwatch if thats OK.

couldn't edit so will say for the two pics Copywright of RSPB and Springwatch, which I forgot to acknowledge before.
Evening all: Just back from getting bangs (fringe) tidied up so can now see where I'm going; trouble is, they've moved into a new location with ghastly horrible merciless lighting that revealed that my wrinkles have wrinkles! Of course, the reception desk is draped with age 20-something girls looking marvellous. :-(
Margo: Good to hear from you; wish I could wish away those anxious days....
Clare: You could look on the positive side and say you're getting twice the bang for your buck by having two workouts: one at the class and the other cycling back up the hill. Still, I think I'd prefer it the other way round...
Lovely pix folks; thank you. Off to yoga then book signing by friend of mine at local bookstore, just up the road from the gym, so will grab a salad or something and leave OH to cope with dinner solo.
The twins have arrived!!! Late yesterday pm Dau2 phoned to say all well. No details yet and we haven’t seen them, probably later today. First they wantedLittleMiss to meet her new sisters. On Tues I had afternoon minding LM and then brought Jasper the cat home here where he has settled in as usual. However LM was heartbroken at him going away for a “sleepover”. She told her mother “Jaspers gone!” Today our gas is off while they install new pipes – inside the old ones. We have gas stove, hot water & heater - at least I can boil the kettle. Here is Jasper snoozing in the sun on the card table in the window. Of course we provide 3-star accommodation.
AQ congratulations all round. So pleased to read all is well with the twins and Mum. i am having lots of sleepless nights and thought I would just look in to and see what was going on and so pleased I did. Wonder what LM reaction will be to her new sisters. Love the pic of Jasper relaxing in the sun.
AQ: Hurray! Bet your daughter is sooooo relieved not to be carrying that huge bundle around inside. Three-star accommodation? I'm on my way!
Congratulations and best wishes to you and your family, AQ!!!
