Yesterday's quiet was punctuated in the evening by a similar male intruder to one who tried to move in with EJ on 24 April, but it may not have been the same bird.

I wonder if he brought a fish for EJ? Anyway at 14.03 he gets up, looks at the eggs for a couple of seconds then sits back down and readjusts his position.

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
