HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Last week's chat thread is here: http://www.rspb.org.uk/community/placestovisit/lochgartenospreys/f/915/p/111494/862342.aspx#862342
The site is playing up today, so I'm not going to write much. I'll just wish you all a wonderful spring week!!!
Same here, LINDA, we always stay off the roads at bank hols, especially as we are on a tourist route much used by caravans and by motorbikes to and from N Ireland.
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Good morning, it is a nice morning here too. Off for a swim while OH does some painting (the decorating type)
Hello all
The day has started off badly, OH out bowling, I set the washing machine going with hot wash, towels, and forgot to take towels with me into the shower. I didn't realise until it was too late, necessitating fast run upstairs to linen cupboard (with a dripping head and everything else and route across hall which has a glass inside door).
I had an awful dream last night, my house was ABSOLUTELY filthy and one of my neighbours came in. She pointed out all the things that were needing a huge clean and I was ashamed. Also, our front garden was full of old fridges and washing machines, all rusting happily away.
Ah, a normal day then, Heather <big grin>
LOL AQ !!
HEATHER, what a nightmare. I dreamt I lost my specs and couldn't find them anywhere, woke up and my glasses were on the bedside table as usual. No doubt you will have checked your garden and found it rust free!!!
You are almost right, DIBNLIB, when I woke up the dream was real, I had a very worried feeling lol.
Dreaming or not, today was a cleaning day. We pressure hosed the greenhouse inside and out. As I've said before, OH refuses to take the lights out these days but I'm fairly happy with the results.
I hope you have all enjoyed the day, I think MARGO will be at the hospital tomorrow? If I am wrong, blame it on a senior moment.
Heather: I fear that you may have dreamed about MY house! It is completely filthy. (I don't have any deteriorating appliances sitting about in the yard, though. LOL!)
Really busy, and I just popped in to say hello to everyone and wish Margo well!
Talk to you all tomorrow.
DIBNLIB - what are you decorating this time? I hope you had a good swim - I know that was hours ago, and you have probably been for two walks since then!
HEATHER - I have to admit that I did laugh at the thought of you dashing up to the linen cupboard! I am sure your house is as always spick and span, and your garden too - totally unspoilt by rusting machines!
We have had a good (busy) day. Both did things we had planned to get done, and then OH was a very happy man as he was allowed to do some landscaping: this is his favourite kind of gardening, rather than soil and plant jobs! We also dried some washing outside - and we all know what that means, but ironing won't get done this evening as I am staggering about a bit after the gardening. I also picked and prepared a lot of herbs for the freezer this morning.
Back to normal tomorrow, I hope.
OG just the woodwork, skirtings, doors etc.
