Since the osprey threads tend to be here...these are the ospreys nesting at one of our local lochs (nice view of the nest from the hide too!).
Millie & Fly the Border Collies
KatTai - Pleased you could get along today - and bring your friend also - guessed you might be along soon and left you a wee smilie in the log book :).
You have delighted us with your news from this nest and with pictures all season - Thank you.
I am on an osprey holic - two more nests today and hope to visit a few more in Aberdeenshire over the next two days before moving up to Speyside and then home to Dunblane. My wife is tolerant :).
Thanks Keith! Never got a chance to check the log book today, will see if I can get hold of it next time I'm there! Will probably be there a lot with the chicks looking so close to flying the nest! Want to see them flying before they disappear off somewhere else :)
Wonderful photos Keith & Kaitai!
Kaitai - I like your new friend & I'm sure the children will enjoy a newsletter about the ospreys from Dottie the Dalmation :)

Thanks to both Keith & KatTai for these wonderful photos. Can never have to many osprey pictures!!
KatTai, love your special friend - great idea.
KEITH I have to admit to envying you but its great to see your wonderful pictures. Where did the parents originate from, please. Hope you enjoy the rest of your ospreys searches.
KATTAI Thank you for your pictures too and look forward to hearing more reports Roughly what part of Scotland is this nest in?
Love your special friend and will look into Post Pals as it sounds a wonderful but simple idea
Patily, it's near Forfar.
Birdies LG DU update.
Yup, near Forfar between Dundee and Aberdeen :) Post Pals is a very simple idea, I don't send letters myself but the dogs and one of my geckos do! LOL! Only found out by accident, Dottie's page appeared on our facebook timeline and that's how we came across Dottie and now she is up here on holiday! :D
Thank you MIKE and KATTAI What geckoes do you have? I used to have a pair of leopard geckoes and a chameleon
I have a colony of mourning geckos, probably around about 20 in the colony at the moment! They only grow to about 3 inches from nose-to-tail :D
Do you breed them? Just looked at images Can they change colour?
